Kenya: Bloggers launch fundraising initiative
After almost two weeks of unrest, a major humanitarian crisis is looming over Kenya prompting Africa News Reporters to launch the Sukuma Kenya project, an online donation weblog to raise necessary funds for the thousands of displaced people.
The initiators, Dipesh Pabari and his wife Elodie Yard set up the
Sukuma Kenya project in collaboration with the Kisumu Orphans Education Fund from Jersey Island, founded by Susan Deans.
