This site promotes local self-sufficiency, community survival, practical skills, and simple, sustainable living.  There are hundreds of other places for political activism, but this is not the place.  This is not about changing society but avoiding the high cost of conforming to it.  It's not about making everybody agree with us, but using the freedoms and resources we still have to be more independent.  It's not about gaining power but freeing ourselves from it.
