Architect Adrian Smith shows a rendering Wednesday of a new proposed hotel which would be located next to the Sears Tower.

The owners of Sears Tower unveiled its new glass ledge in July 2009. The ledge juts out from the building's west Skydeck on the building's 103rd floor. This comes after the owners of the Sears Tower announced that they will build an environmentally friendly hotel next to the skyscraper, which is also going green.
