Boey's art work on foam cups can take from hours to months to create. Unlike flat art, his circle around and have no beginning or end. This series is called "Sushi." He said, "I did that because it represents taking time to know a (certain) girl in a sushi bar instead of rushing through it."
In a collection titled "Wired" consisting of cups called Him, Her, This, That, Boey recounts meaningful places from his home back in Malaysia. "The telephone wire (on the back of each piece) symbolizes the way I have to stay in touch" he said.
