The above-referenced Krispy Kreme run happened on the way back from a trip to Ikea to pick up the final component for my latest art piece, "Griff 3.0" ("Griff 2.0" was a cat-bed, but there's nowhere suitable to put it in the New Place):

A TJUGOFYRA LED lighting set, some mirrors, and a bit of electrical tape installed into the scooped-out shell of the late Griff, shown here before reattachment of the faceplate.

Faceplate on and lights lit; the CRT hole has been covered with a sheet of fancy paper from the art-supply store, which isn't as translucent as I'd like, but --

-- the view from behind more than makes up for that!

Here we see a view of the light units as they show through the translucent sides of the iMac...
