hey spacers,
a few friends and i used to have a knittin circle in the university - "get your knit together" - which turned into labour-intensive classes that required constant attendance from the facilitators. this is not what we had intended (as fun as it was) and while i think facilitating the odd workshop is a worthy exercise, a more casual get together for new and old/beginner and experienced/male and female knitters with all participants learning from and teaching each other was what we had really hoped for.
seems like the main tenets of 'stitch & bitch' (or somethin along those lines) might fit well with GSS. i was wondering if there was interest among GSS members and friends?
