An indoor waterfall, a revolving bed overlooked by a mirrored ceiling, a personal team of butlers and a six-man bathtub. The Travelodge, it ain't.

No, this is the newly-opened Hugh Hefner Sky Villa - a two-storey penthouse in the lavish Palms Hotel, slap bang in the heart of Las Vegas.

This is officially the most opulent, most decadent - and at $40,000 (£20,000) a night - most expensive hotel suite in the world. The massive Playboy bunny-branded Jacuzzi which offers views of the Strip cost £350,000 alone. It's brazen, it's audacious. But boy, it's a slice of heaven.

Britney Spears and Kid Rock are fans of the suite, which has an in-room sauna, a bar with its own mixologist, a gym and a chill-out zone with waterfall reached by its own glass elevator.

Ah, it's tough at the top.
