1. We, the user, must regain our primacy in technological interactions
As a user we are always aware of the man-machine divide.
I, for one, am tired of this divide. I want technology-enabled information everywhere and yet nowhere.
We are at the end of online marketing as a distinct subclass of the marketing world
3. We, the people, must reveal ourselves and trust that it will be beneficial
The marketers referenced above are not going to have a complete picture of us, the consumer, until we willfully and proactively give them permission to compile that picture. In order to do so, we will need to be assured of privacy, respect, and return on our “preferences investment”.
I am happy to live my life as an open book (hence my affinity for blogging) and I hope that others will follow. I think that the freedom for perpetual and continuous expression is a world changing idea that can be a force for an era of unparalleled cooperative individuality.
