Dwight Little, who directed the Steven Seagal film Marked for Death, has signed on to helm the movie adaptation of fighting game Tekken. Little, who also directed Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid, Murder at 1600, and Rapid Fire, says of the Tekken project, "It's a gladiator story, but the videogame has a complicated enough storyline that it provides the template for a martial arts spectacular." Tekken was written by Alan McElroy (the scribe responsible for Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever and Left Behind: The Movie) and begins filming in the movie mecca of Shreveport, Louisiana in early February.
