Hacking Netflix (via Gizmodo) reports that rates for Blockbuster's three-DVDs-at-a-time plan with unlimited in-store exchanges just went from $24.99 a month to $34.99—a whopping 40 percent increase. Meanwhile, the two-DVD unlimited plan will climb from $21.99 to $29.99 a month. In an e-mail to subscribers, Blockbuster said the new rates will take effect on or after December 27, depending on your billing cycle.
