Skinkers raises £2m to fund the launch of innovative peer-to-peer technology for Live Content Delivery
The company is using the new funds to bring to market the Skinkers Live Delivery Network, a private and secure peer-to-peer infrastructure which enables both businesses and consumers to receive high quality, digital feeds (text/audio/video) in real time to their desktops.
29 January 2007: Skinkers, a leader in push technology that radically improves communication, today announced that it had raised £2m from its current shareholders to fund the launch of the Skinkers Live Delivery Network, an innovative peer-to-peer network to support live video streaming and real-time notifications. The majority of the funds have been provided by NewMedia SPARK, a London based venture capital firm.
