FORMER Wangaratta local, Peter Denahy, will be returning home next week for a special performance and to sign copies of his album, Picture in A Frame.
Denahy, whose family hailed from the King Valley, is a talented singer and songwriter who played the fiddle, guitar and accordion alongside the late Slim Dusty from 1998.
Among his latest achievements is the song, Sort Of Dunno Nothin’, which has garnered worldwide reaction and had more than 300,000 hits on You Tube.
The song is a hilarious discussion with a monosyllabic teenager, which has touched a nerve with teenagers and parents around the world.
The clip has been shown on Rage, Sunrise, The Morning Show, The Today Show and Spicks and Specks, plus widespread radio support.
Denahy will be appearing at Disclocation in Reid Street from 4pm next Thursday.
