Hard news from Iran is very difficult to get as the Mullah's dictatorship has sought to restrict outside news media coverage and cut links to many internet sites. What we do know is that the demonstrations were smaller on Saturday as most people could not even approach the squares in Tehran where the mass demonstrations of the past week have been held. Police and gangs of armed thugs prevented citizens from gathering and dozens of deaths and widespread violence have been reported.

It's clear that Obama had resisted calls for a tougher stance on Iran, coming even from Vice President Biden and Secretary of State Clinton.
